Marki is a veteran corporate communications specialist. Prior to founding MZ & Friends, Marki served in various strategic communications roles for nearly 15 years at The Estée Lauder Companies. For eight years, she led corporate communications and media relations at the company, one of the world's foremost luxury beauty firms. She directed corporate media relations, managed high-level media strategy, served as a corporate spokesperson, and supported C-suite communications. She also developed external messaging across business, financial, and technology platforms and played a key role in the communications strategy and materials behind M&A activities, beauty tech innovation, and executive visibility initiatives.

Marki's professional journey also included earlier consumer-facing roles at Clinique and other ELC brands, refining her expertise in brand communications, media relations, and influencer strategy. Before entering the beauty industry, Marki began her career in the art world with roles at the Whitney Museum of American Art and Spanierman Art Gallery, where she developed a strong foundation in visual culture and storytelling. Outside of her career, she devoted time to her passion for the outdoors by volunteering as a national ski patroller, blending a love of nature with a commitment to community service. Marki is a Cum Laude graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She resides in Manhattan and Fire Island, New York and can be found with her husband trailing their son and golden retriever.
